Passion, the word that describes Brazil!

I am in the Church service and must be humbled by all the hearts that desire Him.  No wonder Brazil has risen from the ashes.  I remember the days of hyper-inflation.  Well, they have had their Jubilee, the economy is strengthened and positioned to become much stronger in the future.  I remember the days when it was odd to see a Christian bumper sticker, a fish on a jacket, but those days have given way to a new day.  I like it.   I like it a lot.
Thought to ponder:

Gal. 6:17 “From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus.”  I was spending a few days with an, dear, old saint, as he walked off to bed, I asked a question, “Brother in your opinion what is life all about?”  His answer was interesting.  As he walked away he just kept repeating one word, “Death, death, death, and more death!”  He wasn’t saying it as a pessimists, but as an optimists. He had learned that in the Christian life, death will bring life.. II Cor. 4:7-12 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death works in us, but life in you.”   We possess something in us, as believers, that is greater than any electrical power.  We have the very person of Christ dwelling in us.  He is to flow though us so we might share with the world, exactly Jesus.  This great power must be insolated and the insulation is the scars that we have accumulated as we have refused to be offended.  One day we will see the glory of it all.  Until then, we will press on, constantly praying, “Thy will be done.”

We're not around right now. But you can send us an email and we'll get back to you, asap.
