Those are my people. My parents fled the Stalanist terror and were displaced persons. Recently on my singing tour I went to the village where they are from– Salomka. It was there that an American Evangelist came in 1935 and my Grandmother was saved. Then the rest of the family. Now virtually every family in that village knows and loves Jesus. So simple and poor they are. But certainly not without hope. Although I thought I would bring them hope it was they who filled me with so much! Amazing and beautiful people! I’m sure you agree!
