NEWS ON DEVASTATING FLOODS IN AUSTRALIA

 JANUARY 14TH UPDATE FROM MT. ALFORD, AUSTRALIA, ON THE FLOOD NEWS
Hi Betty – just want to keep you up to date on our plans.  Today we baked cakes, at 5am we will start making sandwiches and we have also bought drinks and fruit to take out into the streets to feed those that are faced with the horrendous task of starting to strip their homes so they can hose  out the foul smelling mud.  When we have no food left we will change our clothes and give them a hand to clean up. The streets today looked like a war zone. It truly is heartbreaking.  So much mud . These people have no power, gas supplies have now run out and food is scarce. We will do what we can to remind them that they are not alone. Wendy
