Back in Manaus for a fresh fish lunch with Djard

Wow, I went to the lobby and couldn’t find our longtime friend, Djard.  Many of you will remember that he is the pastor of the medical outreach boat.  He had lost nearly 100 lbs.  I said that next year I would come to the lobby and only find a pair of shoes!  We had a great morning together and then went for fish.  We had the two most famous fish of the Amazon.  Look at the fish ribs that are bigger than pork ribs. Also, I am getting my “ears parted” (a haircut) and discover the fellow is a Brother.  He is coming to the Sunday services. We are off for meetings tonight with those that study English in the church and then for a youth meeting.  Flavio and I are both tired but encouraged.  Thank you for your prayers.  Love, Mike
